What did it for us .... (the sellers):
West of Market neighborhood is a perfect location. Close to quaint downtown Kirkland, it offers picturesque streets to walk-on, parks to enjoy and shopping nearby. The people are friendly and welcoming and there are many young families as well as older residents who have lived there all their lives. My favorite places include Waverly Beach Park, the Marina, Houghton Beach, Juanita Village, Cactus Restaurant and strolling on Lake Washington Boulevard.

What I love about the house are the warm colors and open layout. It has so much light and from every window you see a beautiful setting. We enjoy hanging out in both our front and back yards and hanging out with nearby neighbors. We spend most of our time in the family room and kitchen and they are both spacious, airy and open. We love our large dining room for holidays and entertaining.

We built this house and thought of every detail - we are going to miss the house!

Quick Getaway??

So, if you need a quick getaway with or without kiddos.... this is a great place to try. The Sheraton in Seattle, is in an amazing location right downtown with nice rooms. The pool and fitness center are located on 35th floor so you look over all of Seattle. Very nice hotel and so much fun..

You know, when we first decided to buy this home . . .

We had a vsion in our mind of our kid running around the neighborhood with the other kids - something we couldn't have in LA. When we saw the cul-de-sac and play structure, we knew we could have that there. Then we saw the details of the house and felt that it was head and shoulders above the homes we saw in other planned communities. It had a lot of personality. Then we heard about the new elementary and we were sold. ~ Sally and Brian
